When One Falls, We Step Forward
Since 2000, more than 50 Detroit Catholic Central graduates have passed away or faced life-altering medical emergencies within the first decade after graduation.
These were not students.
They were Husbands. Fathers. Providers.
- Mortgages
- Infants and small children
- Medical bills
When tragedy strikes, families are often left with:
- Sudden loss of income
- Little savings
- No life insurance
Supporting the Brotherhood — Strengthening Catholic Central
The DCCAAF exists to support Shamrocks and their families during times of crisis. While our primary mission focuses on alumni in need, the success of this foundation also strengthens Detroit Catholic Central itself through donor-directed contributions, partnership initiatives, and The Shamrock Return — a commitment that reinvests a portion of unused annual funds back into the Catholic Central community.
“Carry one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2
